Hungary’s Babylon Records has been cranking out a lot of solid global bass music recently. Most of their releases feature European producers with great talent but who fly slightly under the radar. I’ve been paying attention since they’ve been putting out a lot of the music of Hataah and Stas, two Hungarian producers who have been slept on so hard by people that they broke the bed. These two tracks come from ZKYA out of Italy. I’m not 100% keen on the first track called “Blackout” which I think makes to much use of the bleepy bloopy sounds that are on 80% of moombahton tracks. The second track “Soundscape” is a deeper cut that relies on strong percussion and is much more more preferable. They’re both free, though, so worth a peek.
