When we put you androids on to Josh Pan back in May, we let you know that he was a hip-hop producer at heart that has found his niche when it comes to dwelling in the electronic music waters. It makes perfect sense that he’d align with the street bass demigods over at Seclusiasis and Slit Jockey, who have grabbed a quick ditty from Josh Pan for their SeclusJockey free download series. And of course DAD, your steadfast purveyors of everything that dwells in that gray area, get first crack at this jam. “Clap” is a great jam, something that is a mixture of throwback electro (you know, real electro) and crowd-rocking party cuts. It’s only a few minutes, but it gets its futuristic turn up popping from the gate. Stream it below, and hit that link–owning this cut is easier than you’d imagine. And if you want more from Pan, check out this recently-released hype cut “Rose” with Lowend.
