I’ve played a few shows with Shiftee in the past few years, and to be honest, it’s pretty unfair. Not unlike Lebron as a teenager, it’s embarrassing to see him playing with his peers, and I’ve been dunked on every single time I got next to this 2x DMC World Champion. He often creates insane routines that pair as promo videos (his DAD Mix featured an equally insane intro that was shot on Google Glass), and he uses his Traktor Z2 and MASCHINE yet again to create a phenomenal routine using Keys N Krates and Grandtheft’s “Keep It 100” that also serves as an intro for his promo mix for this weekend’s Moonrise Festival. He’s scheduled for five performances on the Lunar stage this Saturday, taking duties as the constant interlude between artist’s sets. You can catch him doing what he does best from 3:00PM to 3:30PM, 4:30PM to 5:00PM, 6:00PM to 6:30PM, 7:30PM to 8:00PM, and 9:00PM to 9:30PM.
