Fresh off a European tour and with more than a million Spotify listens in the bank, TEFFLER returns to Los Angeles with a new track that will have his hometown audience bouncing – a rambunctious new club track called “CALI,” out today on Soundcloud, Spotify and iTunes.
“CALI” is an infectious, upbeat club anthem with a celebratory vibe, which is appropriate considering TEFFLER’s incredible success in the U.K.. During his recent tour, TEFFLER sold out the famed Cavern Club in Liverpool, home to the legendary Beatles. Also, his collaboration with D.A.N.E., “Never Let me Go,” recently celebrated one million listens on Spotify, prompting the DJ to remix the track’s music video featuring fans who sent him videos of their loved ones.
Though the track could easily be just a victory lap for his return home from Europe, “CALI” is also musical homecoming for TEFFLER. While the DJ has enjoyed recent success with his more pop-infused collaborations with artists like D.A.N.E., and Ricky Breaker, TEFFLER began his career in the Los Angeles EDM scene, and “CALI” puts him right back in that familiar space. “CALI” showcases TEFFLER’s ability to effortlessly blend pounding, pulsing dance rhythms with atmospheric breaks to keep the listener energized and entertained. Though California is never mentioned by name in the track, “CALI” has a vibe that conjures up images of nights spent on the floor in an LA dance club.
“I just got back from an amazing experience overseas,” TEFFLER says. “I wanted to share that enthusiasm with my hometown fans. None of this would be possible without them, and when I got back, I knew we just had to get out there and get after it!”
